Penguin Books commissioned a series of food ‘Bibles’ – compact, practical,
handsome little books (a chunky 258 pp, but only 14.5 x 17.5 cm big). I ended up writing six,
including a fun one on cocktails. Two of my favourites were Lunchbox Bible and
Vegetarian Bible.
